The EHDEN project, which launched in November 2018, wrapped-up its initial phase at a two-day event on 9/10 October in Barcelona. The overarching theme of Day 1 was “celebration” in which a large group of the EHDEN Community consisting of Consortium Members, SMEs, and Data Partners came together to look back at EHDEN’s many accomplishments. A public Symposium, which was held on Day 2, covered the full spectrum of EHDEN’s journey, its impact on the generation of real-world evidence, and charted its future as the EHDEN Foundation.
To mark the occasion, a commemorative booklet was produced EHDEN: Our Journey which captures the successes EHDEN has realised in fulfilling its mission to provide a new paradigm for the discovery and analysis of health data in Europe, by building a large scale, sustainable federated network of data sources standardised to the OMOP Common Data Model.
