A federated network of data partners

The EHDEN Foundation network of data partners brings together a wide range of data sources across the EU, covering multiple healthcare settings, including primary care, hospital, claims and disease registry data, harmonised to the OMOP Common Data Model.

Currently, the EHDEN Foundation network includes more than 100 data partners, of which more than 60 having signed a framework agreement to speed up legal negotiations.

These data partners cover more than 25 countries, reaching over 291 million patients.

The EHDEN portal is the best tool to get to know all of the EHDEN Foundation data partners. The portal contains all the 200+ data sources that were standardised to the OMOP CDM during the EHDEN project. The EHDEN Foundation can engage with all of these data partners if necessary for specific research questions. The EHDEN portal includes the Network Dashboard, metadata-driven fingerprinting profiles, and even records counts for standard clinical concepts. The aim of the portal is to facilitate the research workflow from discovery to analysis within the Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) principles.
